Right now, I'm teething really badly on my last wisdom tooth (I have Orajel and Excedrin, so the pain is manageable, but damn I'm tired of the entire left side of my face aching) so I was complaining to Co-worker K about it. The conversation pretty much went like this:

So, during my daily procrastination from existence, I saw a Facebook Hidden Object Game featuring the Phantom of the Opera.

Upon closer inspection, it said 'Escape from the Phantom', and I scoffed and said, 'Now why would I do that?'

And then I went to Fallen London.

I'm very amused at my long lasting and passionate love for the Phantom.

Also, I quite enjoyed the leaked pilot for Elementary. I'll definitely be watching more.

So, having gotten my mother to finally watch Supernatural, I've gotten her caught up on seasons 1 and 2, and have let her watch a lot of what I've kept of S4 (which is almost every ep--she has two before she's caught up on S4 without having seen S3) and she had this to say about In the Beginning:

Mom: Why do they always have to make Dean so sad?

Me (wisely): He's very, very pretty when he's angsty.

Mom: Oh, yes, he is. I understand now.

This made me laugh until I cried. I don't know why it's so funny.
