So... apparently we're going to war. I remember my grandfather talking about WWII, but I was so young that now I can't remember what he told me. All I'm left with is this feeling deep inside that says to me I don't want war. Considering the fact that at the very heart of it, this isn't about Saddam Hussein or disarmament, it's about rising oil prices-- just like every other war, there's a economic slant to it. And now, it frightens me more than any story I've heard, because people I know are going to go and die, friends and family. I might not see any of them again. And then I'm almost grateful to my chronic bronchitis, because if it hadn't disqualified me from service, I would be in the Armed Forces right now. Instead, I'm going to watch. In my own way, I'll pray for everyone.
tranquil_sea, I'll ask for Jason to be kept safe.
ishuca I will pray for your brother.
As for all of our family and friends, and loved ones, I hope they all come home safely.
Yes, I Wish For Peace.
