Finally, I have a calm moment!
Work has been exceedingly wonky with my schedule, which means that I've spent the last four days closing-opening-closing-opening. I think the only reason I'm awake right now is because I have the day off tomorrow, so I've been spending the evening writing tumblr prompt fills.
The biggest thing I've spent most of my time on recently is my Siamese cat Jill. She got really constipated (she's husky and doesn't particularly like to exercise) and I am capital-B-broke, so I was stressing about a vet visit for her. Fortunately, the internet came to my rescue, and after several days of carefully dosed laxative, she's back to normal.
I have a super secret coldflash project that I'm working on, because I tried to ignore it and it refused to go away. It's a little different than what I usually write, so I'm curious to see how it'll be received. I also did a tumblr poll to crowdsource which of my longfics I should write next, and Resonance won by a landslide. I'm kind of surprised, since I haven't updated that story since.... 2019? And I honestly thought that most people had given up on it. Serves me right.
On the other hand, I do have 4,300 words on it, so I should really get my butt in gear. There's really no excuse.
