I'm going to make DW a habit again!

A couple of stories from work:

* I was chatting with one of my female co-workers at work today, and mentioned that I'm suffering from shark week and it sucks. Our conversation goes as such:

Coworker A: Can you record it somehow?

Me: Of course I can.

A: Yeah? What do you do?

Me: Oh, I just go to monthlyinfo.com...*blather about tracking that time of month blah blah blah*

A: Oh, wow. Can you record other TV shows there?

Me: ... *facepalm*

I do believe this is the first time I've every actually had two ENTIRELY DIFFERENT conversations at the same time.

Story number 2:

* I'm a front end coordinator at work, which basically means I supervise the cashiers. One of our responsibilities is to maintain control over a set of keys that allows us to get into the locked drawers (if we need change or the lost and found) and allows us to lock/unlock the sensor removers.

I'm wearing a dress today that doesn't have any pockets, and there's no other way for me to hold on to those keys? It used to have a spiral wrist keychain attached to it, but then it got stretched out and unusable and they removed it, so it's literally just four keys on a key loop. It's very hard to hold onto it.

Anyway, I was doing last minute clean up before my shift was over, and at 5pm I looked over at my register so I could grab my keys and pass them over to the next coordinator. I couldn't find them. I spent about twenty minutes looking for those damn things, getting increasingly worried and wondering if I had set them down on my counter and what if a customer had picked them up and I got fired because of a horrible security breach and and and--

Turns out, I'd dropped them into my bra.

So I go the dubious pleasure of going up to Manager B and saying, "On one hand, they were on me the entire time, so that's good. On the other...They were in my boob. I'm sorry." I took the laughter good-naturedly an then made my escape.
