poetry_fiction and poet_inspired are currently accepting sign ups.
poetry_fiction is my annual writing challenge where we use snippits of poetry to inspire fiction. The poet changes every year, and we accept all fandoms, genres, original work, femmeslash, het, gen—the challenge is completely inclusive, and everything is welcome.
On the flip side, there'spoet_inspired, which is exactly like the other community, but for any other fanwork besides writing. Interpretive dance, go! Podfic? Absolutely! Photography, cooking, game making, anything you'd like, as long as it's inspired by your prompt.
If you're interested at all, please check it out and spread the word! Sign ups close on December 31st, at 11:59 CST, and the writing period is the entire month of January. Posting is in February.
