It's been more than a month since I last wrote here. I'm really weirded out by my lack of things to say, because I always feel like I'm talking, but I guess talking to people in rl exhausts my communication skills.
So, to start with, my computer had to be repaired, because the power jack broke. Currently, the adapter isn't charging, but Zarita has a toshiba notebook, and I'm using that charger until I save enough to buy my own. I've been listening to Welcome to Night Vale, like everyone else in the universe, and it's right up my alley. It's hard for me to concentrate on it, so I usually listen to it when I'm walking, but it's clever and funny, so it's a good expenditure of time.
My dad bought me season 1 of Elementary for my birthday, because he didn't get me a birthday present back in July, and I spent three days marathoning the entire season. It only reinforced how much I genuinely love the show, and how Sherlock has completely lost me. I'll still watch series three of Sherlock, but my enthusiasm is for Elementary.
I've been hanging out on tumblr a lot, for the simple fact that it encourages simple passive consumption of material. I don't interact with anyone on that website, and while I'm a little sad at how I've completely and utterly I have failed to maintain any sort of internet community, it's nice to look at a lot of pictures of fandoms I love.
I still have feelings about Cory Monteith's death. When the news first broke, I was just sad because death, sucks, regardless of who it is, but the longer I think about it, the more it hurts. I don't know why. I didn't particularly care about Cory, or Finn, really. It's just been--odd.

dungeonmarm on September 13 to go to a Rocky Horror Picture Show event, and that looks like it's going to be fun. In October, I'm going to see Bon Jovi with my dad, and in November dungeonmarm and I are going to see Audra McDonald perform. I have a lot of real life events coming up. I'm totes unused to real stuff happening.
