Guys, how is tomorrow my birthday? I don't feel like it, but I'm going to be 29 years old! It's madness.
So, as today's my day off, I've spent my dad foofing around online and chatting with
lady_krysis. I've got an hour in which I can run the vacuum before my dad comes home, so maybe I'll manage to do that. I know it sounds stupid, but I find it hard to do anything productive when he's in the house.
Other than that, I've caught up on this week's Warehouse 13 and Alphas. Still enjoying both of them, although Alphas needs more Bill. I do like ourmutants alphas of the week, though.
I've taken to sleeping a ridiculous amount all the time, but during the moments when I'm not working or asleep, I have been working on the Giant Stack of Comics on the coffee table and have successfully caught up with everything Marvel. now, DC's smaller pile is staring at me, and it's half Superman, which is uck, and half Legion, which I enjoy much more. I'll get around to it eventually, I'm sure.
When I woke up this morning, I felt like my brain had been carrying on a conversation without me, and I was about to give a response. It's weird. I don't even.
I've been complaining about my lack of writing (seriously, the only thing I write anymore is Miles and Theo porn with
lady_krysis, and that's only because she does most of the work) and have come to the conclusion that daylight saps my creativity and I'm far too easily distracted. I need to barricade myself in my room and turn my iPod up really loud or something. I've got two paragraphs of what could theoretically be an Havok/Darwin XMFC fic of EPIC PROPORTIONS, but no idea of how words work anymore. I want to do Camp NaNoWriMo in August, but I whatever I do is going to be crap.
Grr argh.
