Huh.
So. I used to read Smallville fic, like, a lot. I was so totally there for the Clark/Lex, because it was all sorts of hot. Even had a Lex!muse, until Draco decided there was only room for one hot rich guy, and it was him. (It still saddens me sometimes...) But that was all cool. I mean, the heydey of that fandom was around season 3 or so, right?
And then. Last night.
Clark and Lex had the biggest break-up scene ever. Whew.
With comments like, (paraphrasing)"I understand the Clark Kent obsession, I had it too, when I thought you were worth something." and hand delivering wedding invitations and "I want you at the wedding to see what you lost."
Heh. My heart gave one final jolt of love for the season, but dear god, I hope it's the last one. At least the February sweeps episodes have been decent.
