So. Sometimes my mouth just talks without me. Like so:

Officer: *looks oddly at my chest*

Me: *thinking 'what is he looking at?' and looking down, where I realize I have my 'Let me drop everything and work on your problem' t-shirt*: Oh, yeah! My shirt! I'd forgotten that I was wearing this one, and you were looking at my chest so oddly!

Officer: *now embarrassed* That's what I hate about girls who have things on their shirts and across their butts--I'm reading what's on their clothes, and I feel like a pervert.

Me: *waves his concern away* Oh, it doesn't matter to me. I tend to forget I have breasts until I catch them in the register.

Officer: *blinks*

Co-worker: *giggles*

Officer: Well, you have a good night. *runs away*

Me: Did I say something odd?

Co-worker: *laughing* I think I need to sit down.

*nods* I know. I mostly give Cy his private time. He's rather unobtrusive. He's just a quaking presence in my head all the time.

Wait, a second. Revell is putting the moves on Kait, why? Mrrr. Oh, right. He really does believe Kait is using Cortland, and he's always looking out for his younger brother, and I'm still not sure that I like Revell putting the moves on Kait when he knows Cortland loves her and where are those two men? *wails*

Ah, they'll show up whenever. I keep thinking Conrad is immortal. Hrrm. That's even more depressing. Um, don't tell Cortland that he's not immortal. They were really getting along when they were in my head, and I think it would hurt Cort a bit to find out.
