Tumblr has told me that the Virgina GOP is calling for armed revolution if President Obama is re-elected in November. (The link is to the GOP newsletter.)

Okay, okay, wait. Stop me if I'm wrong, but isn't that treason? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?

I think it's technically a fulfillment of the Second Amendment in their minds.

Look, I'm a Democrat, and one who voted for Obama and will do so again, but I've read that entire newsletter and fail to see a call for an armed revolt against him. There are calls for Marches, for Gatherings and for Rallies, but no "armed revolution." So let's tone down the rhetoric, okay?

I was using words that they wrote in their own newsletter.

Page 7 of the pdf, in White House Watchdog by the Editor, it reads:

"The ultimate task for the people is to remain vigilant and aware ~ that the government, their government is out of control, and this moment, this opportunity, must not be forsaken, must not escape us, for we shall not have any coarse but armed revolution should we fail with the power of the vote in November ~ This Republic cannot survive for 4 more years underneath this political socialist ideologue."

I'm not one for rhetoric, honestly. I try to be fair-minded to everyone, and I'm sure that even with what I've just quoted, nothing will happen in November, but they say it in pretty straightforward language, I think.
