Snowflake Challenge: Day 3

Day 3

In your own space, share a favorite piece of original canon (a TV episode, a song, a favorite interview, a book, a scene from a movie, etc) and explain why you love it so much.

OMG. OMG, I—how do I choose? My mind, of course, immediately jumps to the Flash, so I just. Can't choose just one?

The scene in Saints and Sinners. (S1E22)

Here I risk falling into incoherency, because I just. Love. Everything about it? Leonard sensing Barry before he turns around to see him. I love how 'Cold as Ice' is playing in the background. I love how they get into each other's space like it's perfectly normal to get that close to someone you're not into. I love Barry being desperate and Len holding all the cards. It's just such a good scene.

Or this other Saints and Sinners scene? (S2E3)

Basically, the entirety of Flash S2E3 is a goldmine. More info on Lisa Snart and Leonard's childhood and their horrible dad and the things that Leonard is willing to do for the people he loves. And specifically, this scene, in which Barry hunts him down and asks to help and Leonard is one big, contrary cat.

One last one, and then I'll stop, I promise. I can't forget the Christmas stop(S2E9), where Leonard breaks into the West family home because he can, and Barry gets a little too into his space and they actually end on a civil note. My heart, I can't handle it.

Ugh, coldflash, how have you managed to hook me for so long, I just don't understand.

Oh man, the CHRISTMAS SCENE. The mini-marshmallows bit and his smirk, I love it so much, ugh.

Especially in that he is there to warn Barry! Breaking in and entering is his version of being nice!!

Okay, those scenes were a thing of joy. From Len being such a drama queen (and Wentworth Miller hamming it up and clearly having so much fun) and Barry being so *earnest* and the pair of them standing so close...

"Ho ho ho."

Those scenes are pretty damn fantastic.

Did Wentworth have to go that hard? No, he did NOT

No, he definitely did not. But line after line, he goes hard! (I kind of love him so much for that.)

I'm new to this canon, but those two dudes are standing real close together. I think you're onto something. *g*
