Today, work was actually fun. I had a couple of projects, by which I mean I got to go around the call center and gather together all the little pieces of headset that were lying around abandoned and then test them all to make sure that they all worked, and I answered a ton of questions.

I also:

* disabused four newbies of the notion that I was actually a team lead (You know, I kind of get the impression that people hope I'm a team lead for the far off possibility that I might become their direct supervisor)

* made three pots of coffee, and specifically, three cups of coffee for random people in the center—yes, I am now the coffee girl at work. Shut up.

* became some random guy's new bff, as apparently I was cute and sweet and like a kitten and I should never change, never, because I was just so adorable.

* was able to get on the phone for all of three seconds because someone had a customer compliment, which ended up with the woman complimenting my co-worker, and then wanting to speak to my immediate supervisor so she could tell them how cool I was (which she couldn't, because I was playing supervisor, but I told her I appreciated the sentiment)

All in all, really not a bad day. I wish more of them were like that.
