Ugh, typo? wtf?
1. Lisa didn't tend to think about the past very often, but occasionally House would do something even more insane than usual and she would realize just how bitter she still was over the loss of Vogler's money.
Then I realized that was more Gen than shippy, so you also get:
When House was really bitter over something she'd refused him, especially when she knew she was in the wrong, she would make it a point to wear a low-cut top that he could ridicule, and she wouldn't call him on his mockery.
2. House didn't like cold days because they made his leg hurt and chapped his face with wind and created runny noses for the clinic--but he wouldn't trade them for anything because those were the days when Wilson would take one look at him, clasp his numb hands in his and share the warmth.
3. Conrad spent the days taking care of Yuuri and found himself wondering when his devotion to the Original King got displaced by his affection for the current one.
But I realized that sentence was kinda blah, so you get another side of blah to go with it. :P
Conrad hugged Yuuri, desperately wishing to cure the displaced king's homesickness, and whispered, "I'm sorry, Yuuri. You are home to me."

(1a) is very in character for Cuddy; I like it. :) But I adore (1b); haha, that idea never even came to mind before. And I love (2) so very, very much. ♥♥♥!!! (3a) is somewhat matter of fact but sweet. (argh, wtf was with my word choice, anyway? I have to say that I was watching some episode of House Season 2 while picking words, so I suppose it's a good thing they didn't get any more clinical or impersonal...) :P And (3b) is awwwww sweet! Conrad and Yuuri is tender love, really.

1. Sometimes Severus would wake from a troubled sleep to find himself in front of the dying embers of the fireplace with a spilled cup of tea at his feet, his fingertips softly tracing a light brown stain spreading across his carpet like hair without streaks of wizened gray; and for a moment, he would envisage a future that might have been, before a sliver of forgotten porcelain sliced his finger and the feel of warm blood dripping from his hand pulled him back to reality.
When Severus came home to find a familiar shabby brown cloak draped over the back of his sofa, a smile teased the edges of his practiced scowl and he knew he had been forgiven.
When Severus came home to find a familiar shabby brown cloak draped over the back of his sofa, his chest felt curiously light and his lungs drank in air easier than normal; so he swept off to locate its absent owner - to deliver a lecture on sloppy habits, of course - and see if he could restore the world to its proper equilibrium.

The weight of Morgif brushing against his thigh as he took one step forward reminded Yuuri that he was in fact a king in this unbelievable world, and that sometimes choices were made for him for good reasons, as much as he would wish to fruitlessly argue otherwise. The thought stopped Yuuri in his tracks, and that second step which would have put him in arm's reach - to latch onto his wrist and stop him, pull him back, to do something - was never taken. Instead, Yuuri quietly followed Conrad with his eyes as he walked away, filing away the memory of Conrad's back, and how every time he saw it, Conrad was once again trying to protect him - even from himself.

3. On nearly every other Wednesday, House tended to rant about how ties ought to be banned from the hospital (often accompanied by spontaneous descriptions of outrageous plots to get Cuddy to agree); purely out of concern for the patients, of course, who shouldn't be picking up nosocomial staph infections just because their physician wanted to look snazzy for Amelia, the new radiologist, over lunch in the cafeteria. When Wilson pointed out that he was becoming far too predictable with his diatribes, House pulled a pair of scissors from his desk and snapped the blades together threateningly, prompting Wilson to beat a hasty strategic retreat back to his own office. He only dared to smile once safely around the corner, and supposed he might start wearing his new ties on Thursdays instead.
