Meh.

I finally figured out what I dislike most about my Japanese textbook.

It doesn't really give me useful examples of gramatical structure. Gah. I like to know how I'm supposed to say it before I start talking, thanks. ><

In other news:

I got my corset today!

That fast?

O.O Did you do next day delivery or something?

Linguistics, love. I'm telling you to get a linguistic book from the library or whatever. It will help.

No, I didn't do next day delivery or anything. It was normal delivery. They got it to me a week before what they promised--I was pleased. ^^

Linguistics is an evil thing that will confuse me even more, I promise. If I couldn't even pass Intro, I most certainly won't understand another random linguistics book.

But the thing about a linguistic book, nothing heavily technical, mind you, is that it will provide you with at least the word order of the language, which is what you wanted.

If not a linguistic book, then look up some articles about word order on the internet. I'm just saying that linguistics will help you out more than you think, regardless of whether you enjoy the subject. :P
