Two words. Seriously.

Carolyn Parkhurst.

Three more words.

Lost and Found.

I love her.

There is an abuse of italics instead of CAPITALS in this entry. That's new. ;)

I want to write poetry like Ted Kooser and novels like Carolyn Parkhurst. They are both just so awe inspiring for me. I haven't felt this way since I read the collection of Anne Sexton poetry.

It woke Gabrielle, of all my muses, up so she could write one line.

I angst at my lack of creativity.

Cramping apparently makes me odd. I don't think my brain is working quite correctly.

You're indecisiveness will kill me one of these days.

Eh, my house. What the hell. You get to decide what we do from then on though. :P

Like what? I don't really know what kind of things there are to do in Little Rock other than Barnes and Noble and the Rave.*boggles*

*shrugs* I don't know. There's Sufficient Grounds, where we can order coffee and the like. We could go to the movies, but I'm afraid my budget's a bit tight because of the Baton Rouge trip Amoja and I are going to have to make at the end of the month.

Hmm. I could always cook dinner, and we can hang out wherever--movies, the house, the park, etc.

Oh, Lost and Found is so worth it. I admit I was a bit iffy about it at first, but I love it passionately now. Abby. ♥

I'm upset I wasted my time on that damned book. People loved it and it was on the NY Times list for, like, ever, and they made a movie! With Meryl Streep!

UGH. I'm grossed out by humanity for liking that awful awful thing.

[identity profile] lunesque.livejournal.com 2006-07-12 04:56 pm (UTC)(link)
So, should I not read it then?

[identity profile] nonewwitticisms.livejournal.com 2006-07-12 04:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Seriously. Don't waste your time. Whoa.

Gotcha. I need to finish all of my serial killer books anyway. ^_^
