Co-worker: Ew. You used the word 'pre-come'.

Me: Um...yes. Do you have a suggestion for a better word?

Co-worker: *thinks* How about 'first drops of love juice'?

Me: *stares* HA HA HA HAH HA HA no. Really. Any suggestions?

Co-worker: *stares back* I guess you don't like that one, huh?

Me: *horrified* *giggles helplessly*

OMG that makes it so much worse. She's reading too much trashy romance novels.

But then again, I used to read trashy novels too but never came across that term.

Yeah, it's awful. In fact, it wasn't until she started working with me that she realized how awful it was. Because she'd be all 'ooh, read this!' and I would, and I would start laughing, and then I would have to explain why I was laughing, and it was a mess.

Lately, she'll start a book, and then get pissed at me because she realizes how bad it is now. ^^;; Ignorance is bliss, I guess.
