I told you all about my inspirational sports movie yayness, haven't I? Well, the other day my father and I went to Hastings, and I was looking at a horror movie about demons (so it said on the back), called 13 Curses. The litle bit of conversation we had went thus:

Dad: What do you have?

me: A movie. Looks like it's about (etc. etc movie details yadda yadda)

Dad: Oh.

me: Yeah, you know me and demon movies. It's kinda like my inspirational sport stories, except, you know... not inspirational or sporty.

Dad: *stares at me like he can't decide whether I got more of my genes from him or my mother.*

me: What?

Amd the day before yesterday, actually, I discovered that Conrad!muse likes my father's sense of humor, which makes me weep.

evangeline and I were talking about Bleach, because it's an awesome anime, and Dad goes 'What are you watching Clorox and Purex for?' And laughs manically.

We're all staring at him like we can't believe he talks, and Conrad!muse is all. 'Watching Bleach? Clorox? I don't get it. Let's flip through the rolodex of Rachel's brains... ah. Oh, I see, Clorox IS Bleach. HA HA HA HA HA.'

I silently weep in angst.

Thus is my life.

19 days until I see RENT!

Also, I've decided I like the Rent Movie better on DVD than in the theater because they have the deleted scenes, and I think, an alternate ending that I liked better. If only Roger weren't a music video and Mark didn't overact for the first half of the movie, I'd be estatic.
