heh. I had suspicions, but I didn't expect it to pan out like that. I spent the rest of the day thinking of it and going 'hn'.

in the first chapter of the gunslinger, roland asks brown, "do you believe in an afterlife," and brown says, "i think this is it."

i spent the whole rest of the series thinking about that and it was totally correct.
