In the last few days, I have watched the first season of American Gods, stayed caught up on Castle Rock, and now

dungeonmarm and I are on the last two episodes of season 2 of The Exorcist. I don't usually watch so many things all at once, so I'm a little shocked and surprised and pleased.

(Also, why did I stop watching The Exorcist in the middle of S1?? It was giving me everything I wanted, it was scary and suspenseful and had a ship that I almost wrote fic for. Why did I abandon it?? S2 basically amounts to: I love John Cho, but S1 was quality!)

I have not written anything in a month, and I'm starting to feel the creep of NanoWriMo coming up behind me. Is anyone else trying it out in November?

I'm definitely thinking about it. I have the beginnings of an idea for NaNo, and it's been awhile since I really tried it.

I'll be doing writing sprints all month. I'm really excited about my story this year.

I'm thinking of NaNo, particularly since my class schedule interferes with my normal Thursday NaNo group write-in. So hopefully I'll be motivated in November.

I'm always open for sprints, so hit me up if you need a writing buddy!

I am so disengaged from writing it's funny. I haven't wanted to write in forever. :-\

Have you thought about doing an original story, instead of fic? This probably isn't helpful, but at this point I think: what do I want to read at this very moment? And then write it.

Hmm, that's an interesting thought. I'll give it a go.

I think some of my issue is that I'm not consuming anything much fandom related. I just don't have the time.

I feel you there. I'm not really consuming fandom stuff, and it's slowed my output down.

However, less fandom means more room for my original stuff. So it's still a win, I guess.
