Today, I went with dungeonmarm to the Barnum and Bailey/Ringling Bros circus! There were some great performances, although the tigers were my favorite (they were so cranky and playful and I may have wibbled a little in joy) and it wasn't nearly as visually busy as I thought it was going to be, which was nice.

After we stopped by the Green Corner Store for floats and Barnes and Noble—I ended up getting a book on the queer history of the United States, and adult coloring book, and a random novel on clearance. Then we had Japanese for dinner, and spent the drive home singing along with Glee songs. It was a pretty great day, even if dungeonmarm ended up staying awake for more than 24 hours to enjoy it. /o\

Sweet! The last circus I went to was the Big Apple Circus, which was fun too.

But, omg, I hope they got some sleep finally!

This one was super full of acrobatics. I was so enthralled that I only ended up taking one picture out of the entire thing.

I need to get myself some adult colouring books, too. I've seen some pretty great ones, it will be a hard decision. *g*

I've barely colored in any of the ones I bought (dungeonmarm has been the one coloring, mostly) but the book I found at B&N was stained glass style, and I couldn't resist.

Oh, nice. I think stained glass style, mandalas and fairy/fantasy stuff would be something for me.

I'm always thinking I'd like the mandalas, but I haven't found a book of them I want to color yet.
