Hi, everyone!
As usual, I have been working. Working and sleeping. There have been a couple of interesting things that have happened, though.

scheherezhad, and dungeonmarm all went to see Unfriended.
We were all kind of excited about this movie? Because INTERNET GHOSTS HOW COOL IS THAT? It did have some interesting things, like the entire movie happening in a skype session. The main character had a million tabs on her laptop open, most noticeably Teen Wolf and Tumblr.
Other than that, the movie fell really flat for me. I didn't like any of the characters, they all deserved what they got except the first person who died, and then they broke POV for a last minute shitty jumpscare, where the ghost jumps out of the back of the computer for no reason. And, of course, they still managed to get sexual violence in, because character b is holding a knife and going 'I've got a knife, there's going to be stripping on cam, durr durr' and character a going 'tee hee, you're so sexy when you're violent.'
It made me really frustrated because the previous week, I'd missed catching It Follows, which is getting some really good reviews, and the trailer looks a million times better than Unfriended. I can't wait for it to come out on video so I can watch it!
Other than that, on Monday I started using my Zombies, Run! couch to 5k app, and I completed the second work out tonight. Does anyone else use Zombies, Run! when they run or walk? Because I super love it, and it's totally worth the purchase, imo.
Other than that, I've been pretty boring.
Oh, oh! There's one super awesome (and super-needed) thing happening. TJ Maxx is increasing it's base pay from $7.25 to $9.00 for new hires, which means I'll be jumping from $8.76 to $10.51 an hour with my merit raises included, so that is like. Really cool.
