(no subject)

I have been on dreamwidth every day since my last entry, but apparently it's been five weeks since I posted? Like, IDK guys, my life feels so boring and inconsequential that I have nothing to write. So, bullet posts for the win?

* I have my cat at my apartment now. She's still getting used to the new place, but yesterday she laid down on my face and got her tail into my mouth, so I think I'm just going to say she's normal.

* [profile] lady_krysis moved to Washington D.C., but I still talk with her almost every day, so I kind of feel like nothing has changed? [personal profile] dungeonmarm and I can't randomly surprise her on trips to Little Rock, and she very sadly can't come over and play games with us, but other than that it feels pretty normal.

* PS Arkansas peeps, we should totes have another game night. I haven't checked the game stores in town, but Epic Spells Wars looks out of stock due to port congestion (what? for real?) Are there any other games that look interesting to you guys that we don't have? Besides Dead of Winter, which I want like burning.

* I have 600 words of a Steve/Bucky fic that has been lingering on my laptop all month, because I have forgotten how to write and I suck hardcore. No writing is happening. I go to work, I come home, I catch up on The Voice, and I sleep. It bothers me that I don't even have the energy for creative activity anymore.

* I requested today and tomorrow off because my dad and I were going to the Fleetwood Mac concert tonight, but it has been postponed, so instead, we're going to see Kingsman. Also, I have no particular desire to see the live action Cinderella, but I do want to see Frozen Fever, so I hope it'll be instantly available on the internet after the premieres tomorrow.

* Finally watched Big Hero 6, and introduced [personal profile] dungeonmarm to HtTYD, 1 and 2.

* I need to catch up on Elementary and Agents of SHIELD, but I'm completely caught up on all my other media consumption.

That's all I can really think of right now. How is everyone else doing?

I am doing well. I'm head-over-heels for Kingsman fandom (I keep checking AO3 for new fics -- rather than only reading from rec lists -- and I started writing something that... is somewhat lackign in plot or point, but Kingsman!) so I'm hoping everyone else on my FList will see the movie and get sucked in too.

In real life, eh. Mum had a scare (well, technically a "mini stroke") and it's put me on edge but it hasn't had much in the way of long term side effects (small vision impairment, not allowed to drive for three months).

That sort of stuff is terrifying.

It really is. It's all that background terror and stuff that you can't actually fix by worrying, but it takes it's toll.

It was so much fun

I'm glad you enjoyed it!
