December Meme - Day 7

Today's question is: How would you dress if money and fit were non-issues?

I have a feeling that if I dressed the way I envisioned in my head I'd probably be a ridiculous hipster. I want Oxford heels and skinny jeans and striped sweaters. I would wear argyle skirts with patterned tights. That's actually the worst thing for me, working at TJ Maxx—we get so many cute skirts, and they're all 200 sizes too small for me to even dream about. I would definitely wear more black leather, because I'm secretly a biker at heart.

Of course, I notice this question doesn't give me the motivation I'd need to squeeze myself into skirt and tights and striped sweaters all the time, so I'd probably dress the way I do now. A lot of neutrals, the occasional pretty dress, and a lot of reds and blues and greens and browns.

That's a really interesting question. I mean, as much as I sometimes drool over heels and pretty dresses, the reality is that I dress for comfort. Flat shoes or low heels, comfy thick stockings or leggings, stretch cotton tops with no ironing required, wollon skirt and vest for warmth. Weekend dressing is basically jeans/shorts and a t-shirt/jumper.

Dressing up sounds nice, but there's no way I actually care enough to put the effort into ironing, or bear with the restriction and discomfort of fitted clothes and high heels.
