Snowflake Challenge, Day 1

Today's challenge is: In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator.

This one is kind of tough for me, because I cannot look at my work with an objective eye. That being said, the ones I'm proudest of are:

1) Here Mid the Ash Trees
Summary: The Family takes everything from Cheri Majors, leaving her with two things: the clothes on her back, and Pain.
Pairing: None
Rating: NC-17
Date: 5-16-10

Violent Messiahs is the canon on my heart, I think. It has no fandom that I know of, but I love it enough that I don't care. I wrote this after a night when I'd emailed the writer, Joshua Dysart, and he told me, regretfully, that there probably wasn't ever going to be more Violent Messiahs. It broke down something in my mind, and now I have an entire universe populated in my head, of what would happen if I ever took up the helm of Violent Messiahs. This story is what came out.

2) Masquerade
Warning: Incest
Summary: Yuuri has a Halloween party, Anissina has new inventions, Conrad exhibits questionable behavior, and Gwendal is stuck in the middle of it all.
Pairing: Conrad/Gwendal
Rating: NC17
Date: 7-7-06

I'm proud of this one pretty much because of the first exchange between Gwendal, Yuuri, and Conrad. I made myself laugh. That practically never happens. Also, this story is brought to you by the unbearable cuteness of the Conrad sheep!plushie. You're welcome.

3) The Narrow Way
Warning: (over the length of the story) character death, bondage, torture, incest, disfigurement
Summary: It's the end of the world as we know it.
Pairing: Dean/Castiel, Sam/Ruby, unrequited!Sam/Dean
Date: 11-01-08 to Present

Mostly, I'm just proud of my research on this. Every single town I mention exists. I researched hotels and libraries and a million other small details in this, and even though it hasn't been finished yet, and has been thoroughly jossed in the meantime, I still have affection for it. I suppose the fact I'm still writing it helps keep it in my mind. Also, this was the first time I won at NaNo.
