Sam was my least favorite part of that episode. I get that he doesn't have a soul, they don't have to keep slamming us upside the head with it. Seriously, porning with that chick while Dean was abducted? There's a difference between not having a soul and not feeling anything versus doing logically what he should do. I.E. Dean's missing, it's probably not a good time to have sex with a stranger. He managed a year without Dean as a hunter without ruining everything, and now that we've discovered he's soul-less, it's like he's lost all common sense, too.
Also, while I was happy to see Robert Picardo, I was very annoyed that the sounting salt thing worked. That was almost as bad as the entire-night-that-went-by-in-fifteen-minutes scene in Bugs in the first season.
I really, really didn't like this episode at all. And the stupid X-Files opening. Such a waste of my time.
