Left day one and entered day two with 3,269 words. I'll make up for it when I get more sleep.

Note to self: You suck more than you thought at Supernatural fic. Never do this fandom again, kthnx.

ETA: Obviously lied about not being around LJ for November. You're just going to get five entries a day with two to seven lines each. *headdesk*

I stopped with 3,119 at the end of day 1. It's a lot slower going than I'd hoped, since I doubt I'll be able to hit the goal of 1,667 every day to make the total. I'm hoping it'll get easier, maybe, as I go.

And I do know places I can go back and add more to what I've already written, because I've found myself approaching this in somewhat more of a fanfic format, where I'm not describing visuals as much as I could. It's hard sometimes to remember to show what things look like since this *is* the canon and people don't see the images in my head. So, you know.

I'd probably get a lot more writing done if I'd quit checking LJ. It's not like much anyone hangs around here on weekends, anyway. :/

Omg, for serious. I was sticking around lj for an hour last night, thinking 'I should be writing right now.'

But it's awful. *laughs* And it's only the first chapter, and they're changing things on me!

I keep checking my inbox for comments since I've commented on stuff and made a few posts, then I check my flist, and the whole time, I'm like, "Why am I doing this instead of writing? This story isn't going to magically become 50,000 words while I'm wishing someone would post something interesting." :P

Changes already? Ee. Mine at least aren't changing anything big ~~yet~~. The things they've changed have actually given me more to write about, I think, so I'm willing to roll with it for now. I just need to remember to do more description. And maybe more thought processes. I'm narrating a lot, doing some dialogue, and they're not getting a lot of direct thoughts in. That would help, probably.

That, and not going hunting for good Wincest smut. XD [procrastinator]

Ha ha ha. I've broken down and am reading SGA fic again. I've written a hundred words today. I suck.

I read a fair bit of fic this morning, but I decided to make myself write once we got back from grocery shopping. I've now added another 1,000 or so, which surprised the crap of out me when I checked the word count.

You don't suck. I belieeeeeve in you! *waves pom-pons*

I'm up to 3,830 words, but I took a break for that adorable John-as-a-rock-star fic that was on the newsletter.

And I'm also sure that the only people who are ever, ever going to see this fic are you and maybe April. Because I'm bad at writing this fandom.

Clearly I did not look at all the McShep fics on the newsletter. Must go back and read rock star!John. But I wrote Lorne/Zelenka for a drabble-a-thon. And even added it to my site already. I'm all, "wtf, self?"

Probably you and April are the only people who have any chance of seeing my story, too. Becuase it is kind of lame, but I still love it because I am writing.

We totally should have a writing day. Weekend after next, perhaps? April will be here Saturday evening and Sunday and maybe Monday next weekend, so I expect we shall come see you. Then I could come back the week after so we can write and freak out about NaNo being half over already. :D

Also, I've managed to keep every ep of supernatural s4 for April on my DVR with the exception of Yellow Fever, which I accidentally deleted, but then downloaded on my laptop. So that should be a lot of fun. :D

Awesomes. I've got all but the first two on a tape for her, so we can watch as much as we're able, then I'll probably send my tape back with her so we have more talk time and she can watch the rest later.

Yay Supernatural fun! I know I keep complaining, but it's astounding how such a fun show can have such a bad fandom. Bad, bad fandom! *cuddles SGA*

I will warn you now that Dean has actually made a Buffy reference. That's the kind of pain you're in for.

That's not much of a deterrent. I still really want to read it. I have since you weren't researching it back in October. :P
