(no subject)

Today was a long, hard day of work. I hate being in a shift that's obviously understaffed, because it makes even normal days far busier and more stressful. I daydream of getting out of retail, but I'm limited by my refusal to drive. It would be different if we lived in a city with some sort of public transportation, but alas.

Anyway, I don't have much to talk about today, because work wiped me out, so I'm going to look at another question.

!!! Okay, I stopped my entry to put my laundry in the washer, and let me tell you this story! So, [personal profile] dungeonmarm did a load of laundry and was like, our rug is wet. (We have a rug that sits between our washer and dryer, in the little laundry nook. And I was like, IDK, I haven't done laundry in three weeks. (Don't judge me.) HOWEVER. WHILE I WAS PUTTING IN MY SECOND LOAD OF LAUNDRY. Something hot dripped on me, and I was like, wtf what is this? and I looked up at the light, and sure enough, there was water dripping down the glass of the light cover and dripping right onto the rug, where I was standing. I need to put in a maintenance request for my bathroom light, anyway, but I guess I should tell them about the dripping in our laundry room, too. HOW WEIRD.

Anyway, back to fun prompt questions:

your writing process- plot first and then start writing or writing and seeing where it goes?

Okay, writing process questions are always super interesting to me.

Cut for writing talk )
