So.

At first, I really liked Amber and House coming up with a custody agreement of Wilson. I did. I loved it. And I loved the team and I even loved the patient. Chase + bowling = most fun ever. Kutner figuring out the problem was totally the awesome. As well as House's practical joke. That was love.

But CB and House? It just turned into a ginormous pissing contest between them, and... I don't know. Lost its appeal?

I don't like that they didn't go by their own rules, although I guess it was IC.

I didn't like Amber flinging herself all over Wilson just to prove a point.

I didn't like the fact that they brought Cuddy in to settle what is essentially a personal matter.

And Wilson telling Amber about House's practical joke that he told him in secret, as a confidence, with a promise that he wouldn't say anything? Not cool, Wilson. Not cool.

What this episode was really about, for me, is who could fill Wilson's need to be needed better. The show talks about Wilson's enabling and co-dependent ways all the time. Wilson refused to make a stand in this episode because, a) it was funny to watch them fight over him, and b)House and Amber were giving him exactly what he needed to maintain his own self-worth. They obviously, painfully want him. And if he can keep their intensity over him going by doing absolutely nothing, then of course he's going to do it. He might be healthier in the head the season, what with anti-depressants and possibly a decent relationship, but that isn't going to change his basic emotional decisions automatically.

And. I don't know. I really didn't like the way Amber was handling it. Am not sure I feel that way because I actually don't like the way she's handling it, or if it's just because she's interfering with House's friendship with Wilson.

Because, dude. I hate people who forget their friends when they're in a romantic relationship. And if this is where Wilson is or was headed, I will be a very unhappy person.

*nods along* I agree with everything. The episode was both hilarious and deeply meaningful, relationship-wise, between House and Wilson. ^_^

...Can it be next week now please?

Yes. That. I kept hoping Amber would get hit by a truck or something. Or, well, maybe not that, because that would just mean that Wilson would a)grieve if she died or b)cater to her every whim while she healed, which doesn't solve anything. No, I want her to get so fed up with House that she gives up. I want her to decide Wilson isn't worth the hassle. Then House can have him back, and all will be right with the world.

Yeah, I'll just be over here, being a petulant fangirl. :/

On the upside, Chase+bowling=GLEE. As a bowler myself, I approve highly of this.

Chase was the utter awesome this week.

And about Amber-- I was really disappointed. I like her as a character. I really do. I just don't like her dating Wilson. And I really want Wilson to decide Amber isn't worth the hassle and end the relationship himself, but I really can't count on him to do something so simple. ^^;;
