Okay, last night, my mum scared me with news that Heroes is apparently going to be canceled after the second season. After a couple of hours searching online, I have not found confirmation of that. So, if any of you know anything, let me know. In the meantime, I'm posting all the Heroes stuff I did find, just so that effort doesn't go to waste. :D
George Takei will play Kaito Nakamura even on Season 2.
Maya and Alejandro are two new characters. They're twins, and from the Dominican Republic.
We lost Candice, but we gained Sophia, who is being played by Jessica Collins. Of course, no word on what powers she'll have. She works for a shady organization that hunts down people with powers. I'll miss Candice.
Paramount confirms that Zachary Quinto will be playing Spock. This is me being a fucking ecstatic fangirl.
Masi Oka plays an inventor in Get Smart. That makes me want to see the movie even more. I = geek.
Starting this past week, on August 13, the cast of Heroes hosts their favorite episodes. I need to start recording it.
Here's an interview with the Kotzebue brothers, who are the artists who drew the “How Do You Stop an Exploding Man?” series of graphic novels.
Also, because I'm a materialistic whore and want it all:
Heroes/Universal Media/NBC announced tons of Heroes licencing products, it goes from trading cards, video games!!!, games for mobile phones, clothing, posters, figurines and a 2008 Heroes calendar. Companies tied to these various products includes: WizKids Inc. (HeroClix figurines) Scorpio Posters (posters) Topps (trading cards) Mezco Toyz (action figures and deluxe figures) to name a few.
On top of all that Titan Publishing announced they’ll publish the official Heroes Magazine, that’ll ship bi-monthly and will provide an inside look on the production of the series, actors’ interviews, games, letters.
The first episode of Heroes: Origins will be written and directed by Kevin Smith
