Um. I'm longwinded today. Sorry.
It's Tuesday, and we all know what that means. ^_^
First: Hana has gotten into Nathan's website. Poor girl. *pats her*
ETA: the website is back to normal, so it's pointless having the link here. Oh well.
And dude! They're already killing her? She's been on like, three episodes of the show! Admittedly, she has been online a lot, with her blog and hacking the primatech paper page, and she has been featured in more of the comic chapters than any other hero, but come on. I'm curious to see how they pull it off.
Another note: The commentary for Landslide features: Maki Osa, George Takei, and Matthew Armstrong. Isn't that awesome? The Mutual Admiration Society! *♥ Matthew* I'm also tempted to say that George finds Sendhil hot.
1) I'll say this again-- how much do I love Mr. Bennet and Claire together? So much. And they're all together! And Mr. Bennet is going to hide them all! And holy shit-- is that Sylar in black? Um. I think I'll be over here melting. Yum.
2) Linderman healed Heidi! I knew he was going to! Poor miguided man doing some genuine good!
3) Okay. How amazing is it that Sylar is eating ice cream? That means, while on his chase for Ted's power, he went into an ice cream shop, waited in line and everything, and still caught up to them easily? ♥ And dude, a cup? Not a cone? That's so funny for me, for some reason. Also: Ted doesn't know who the hell Sylar is. LOVE.
4) Sylar in tailored clothing equals yum. I loved him in Zane's layered band shirts, but this villain wear is something else. *fans self*
5) Nathan! Okay, just a little funny here, but doesn't Hiro saying "Nathan" kind of sound like he's saying "nee-san"? Hiro calling Nathan big sister is priceless. ♥ Adrian and Maki have the best chemistry ever. They're so funny to watch. But no, Hiro! Nathan isn't a villain! He's trying to do the right thing, really! It's just that he's trying to look at the big picture and he's a little confused and doesn't know which way to go! *weeps and squishes them together* Oh, Hiro was so hopeful, so sure that Nathan would be the hero Hiro thinks he is. *loves* Honestly, I get more of a little brother vibe from Hiro's interaction with Nathan than I do with Peter.
5a) Have now watched the commentary through the third commerical break. The "nee-san" was kind of on purpose! *♥ Maki*
6) I love Hiro's daddy. 'nuff said.
7) Ando's so desperate to be saved. I don't want you to die either, honey! ♥
8) Hiro + fatherly respect = fantastic.

evanjeline, and on the re-watch actually liked her quite a bit. I was surprised. Candice with Micah in this episode was wonderful. It made me really want to see what she actually looks like.
10) *flail* OMG after all that work Hana did to make sure the election was fair and it's MICAH! That's brilliant! I will admit that I thought of him as another bomb possibility, not as Linderman's election ace card! Wow.
12) FBI! Ted worrying about people even though he's getting arrested! SYLAR = ISSAC. He really doesn't have a problem stealling people's identities, does he? ♥ Sylar doing his patriotic duty! Audrey NOT KNOWING HE'S SYLAR! How much do I love this scene? So much. I called Ted's death right here.
13) Once again, I reiterate: I love Hiro's daddy. Training for Hiro!
14) The voting booths are networked. Micah, I love you.
15) Jessica... I have a suspicion I might actually like you in this episode. And I've always loved DL. However, Nathan and Jessica and DL in the same scene makes me happy.
16) The Kensei story! Little!Hiro is so cute. ♥ O_O OMG. This is just foreshadowing that Ando is going to die in the next episode. Hiro needs to remove his heart to be strong enough to defeat Sylar? Ando is Hiro's heart, right? Or am I just panicking because I love the best friend vibe between them? But that's where I'm throwing my vote. Ando's going to die next week.
17) I love Bennet and Matt as a team, even when Bennet is threatening my cop.
18) "Didn't I throw you out a window?" JESSICA AND MATT FOREVER YO!
19) Mohinder and Molly are almost painfully cute. Cavities, seriously. I love how Mohinder is still obsessed over finding Sylar.
20) Okay. Was anyone else turned on by Mr. Bennet when he shot Thompson? I just have a thing for the guys that can shoot without hesitation when they're protecting something. Whew. Mr. Bennet using Matt as bait was very yay. I love this show.
21) Mohinder pistol whipped Matt! A stand off! ACK! Honestly, I can see it either way, Molly living or dying. On one had, she's really got an amazing power that's really dangerous in the wrong hands. On the other, she can track Sylar. Gah.
22) Sylar + Ted's prison truck = Magneto in X-men 3. But damn, Sylar's finger twitch and his tailored black clothes KILL ME.
23) Poor Ted. ;_; I really grew to love you. I'm sorry Sylar killed you.
24) Oh no, Ando's going to face Sylar by himself???? O___O;;;; He really is going to die, isn't he? ;___;
25) JESSICA! DL! LINDERMAN! Wait. Jessica gives back control to Niki? Wtf? I mean, yay, Niki's back, but. Huh. Is this where they integrate, you think?
26) OMG Linderman shot DL! OMG DL STUCK HIS HAND THROUGH LINDERMAN'S HEAD!!! Me = surprised. Thrilled, but surprised.
27) DL can't possibly be dead. *chews nails*
28) Nathan won by cheating. I wanted him to win fairly, damnit. And his speech! I cry.
29) Three things here. Sylar is hot and crazy, boom, and how long do you think it took Sylar to find his super nifty building for his rooftop posturing? Just wondering.
30) And just to make it an even number, I think I managed to like everyone in this episode, even Jessica and Niki, which is really saying something.

I just...have so, SO much love for this episode. Really, I love this ep so much it's almost embarrassing. And I am in need of a desktop wallpaper of Sylar in his villain clothes, for with them, he is TEH SUPER HOTT!. (As opposed to the usual "teh super hott.")

Also, it just occurred to me--but what do you think about the theory of Hiro being Kensei? I don't know if I buy it, but it sounds really interesting. ^_^
Another couple of interesting bits of information: The season 1 DVD box set is going to be released August 28. I'm wanting it hard. And apparently, there's going to be a Heroes spin off. The information is here (http://www.heroestheseries.com/heroes-origins-spin-off-in-the-works/). Very curious indeed.

Hm. I don't really buy the Hiro=Kensei idea, either, but I am in favor of Hiro = descendent of Kensei. 'Cause that's just nifty.
Also, I am so totally writing HEROES in big giant letters on the 28th on my calendar. I want it want it want it, and it will be mine at the end of August, oh yes it will. The spinoff could be interesting, but I'm hand-wavey on the idea of the audience voting on characters. It feels cheap to do that for an actual show, as opposed to the public spectacle that is reality tv.
