Right now, I'm cycling very quickly through 'omg-this-is-so-awesome' to 'holy-shit-how-the-hell-am-I-going-to-pay-my-bills-why-do-I-do-this-to-myself?'
Ist time I got fired, I'd been in what I thought was my dream job for four years. I thought I'd never get hired again. But I ended up changing my career and going into the theater, moving to New York and making great friends.
Second time I got fired (or more correctly my job got downsized so I quit) I ended up freelancing for nine months, doing temp work in a variety of fields, then took the job I now have, never in a million years thinking it'd be more than a stop gap position. Eight years later, I love my job, I get paid more than I ever did, and life is good. Change is freaky, but it rocks more often than not.

Not for, you know, telling the customers they can eat it or anything like that. This is freakin' outrageous. They love you over there.
Eh, all for the best, though. ^^
