Getting up at 5:30am (almost)every day that I work is playing havoc with my writing schedule. I don't know why, but having the sun up in the sky drains my creativity like no one's business. And when the sun goes down, J is home from work, so we spend time hanging out. Which really means that my best writing time is after they go to sleep and before I go to sleep. Which isn't very much time, especially when I have to get up early, uuugh.

In other news, I've caught up on all of my fall television except for Pitch, and I have three Flash stories I'm working on, although I may have to consider the Sukkot fic a loss. Why do so many holidays cluster together? (I am aware that it's my own fault for writing a series of stories and wanting to post on the holiday it's written for, but I still want to complain. /o\)

Tonight, I'll get a chance to catch up on Supergirl and Flash, and next week, we get Captain Cold again, so I'm delighted.

I've also discovered that spending too much time staring at the screen of my laptop is officially causing me headaches. I may have to switch to writing in a notebook and transcribing, because my eyes are just not willing to deal anymore. Sadness.

Good luck with your writing schedule, adn with catching up on TV.

I don't know if you have single-focus lenses or not, but I got a second pair of glasses that are just for seeing 15 inches in front of my face for computer use, and it has made a huge difference in my headaches.

Ah, yeah, stupid insurance. And it does get costly to pay for them yourself- I did and with coatings and whatnot it was a good $300 bucks.

Another idea is that next year, if your far-seeing prescription hasn't changed, you can use your old glasses for that, and you could get the single focus glasses for computer and reading with your insurance. That's kind of what I ended up doing.

Good luck regardless!
