How I feel about this character

Oh, man, I love him. He may be my second favorite character? I saw him with his cranky face and his long flowing hair and I was like, lol, this guy is awesome. And then! He knit! And he loved cute things! I deeply love characters that take their duties seriously, and it's so obvious that the kingdom would fall apart without him doing all the administrative stuff. Capability for the win!

All the people I ship romantically with this character

Conrad, one hundred percent. Sometimes Yuuri. I did like him with Gunter briefly? But then Gunter started to creep me out and fandom made them the Second OTP of Fandom and I grew very tired of their dynamic. Of course, then that episode with Dan Hiri happened, so I may have shipped them together briefly. /o\

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Greta! She perches on his shoulder and they're just adorable together! I just imagine her forever climbing on him, even when she's an adult, because he's a little dumb in acknowledging people's ages in human years and probably will let her perch on him until she's eighty and too old to do it anymore.

My unpopular opinion about this character

I never really know what constitutes an unpopular opinion. I suppose the fact that I ship him with Conrad is a pretty unpopular opinion.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon

I will admit that I've never actually watched the entire series? I'm still a couple eps away from the end of season 2, and I haven't even seen season 3. I just want him to be happy. I loved seeing him unbend a little and become softer the longer Yuuri was on the throne, and I just love that. I want him to be happy with his family, the end.

Yeah, I have no idea what would be an unpopular opinion in his case. I ship him with Conrad like burning. *g* And now I'm thinking of doing a re-watch...
