[personal profile] dungeonmarm asked: Comment on the duality of humanity.

Um. To be, or not to be, that is the question. Also, fuck you. :P

[personal profile] dungeonmarm asked: Does learning to analyze literature in school increase or decrease the pleasure of reading?

I always felt it kind of decreased the pleasure of reading. I would always come up with strange ways of reading the text, and then we'd go into class discussion and I would be so completely off the mark that I really felt deflated.

[profile] lady_krysis asked: Which movie and/or book characters are on your horror survival team?

Oh, this is a hard one. You also didn't give me a team limit, so I'd say ALL OF THEM. THEY CAN BE CANNON FODDER.

Seriously, though, I think I'd choose Supergirl (the Linda Danvers version), Aisha al-Fadhil, and Citizen Pain. Notice how all three of these people would be able to keep me alive.

[personal profile] dungeonmarm asked: What's the funniest movie you've ever seen?

I haven't the vaguest idea. The one that made me laugh the hardest when I watched it the first time was Curse of the Queer Wolf but it was a terrible movie.

[personal profile] dungeonmarm asked:You are guaranteed safety and enough income to live comfortably. You may choose between spending a year in 1913 or 2113. Which do you choose?

2113, for a few reasons. First, 1913 is right before WWI, so no thank you. Secondly, even if i did have safety and income, my asthma would be absolute hell. 2113, I think, would be safer in that respect. Plus, the future!

[personal profile] nanasked: Who is your favorite character in the most recent media you've consumed?

That would be Queen Elsa of Arendelle, from Frozen. I just watched that movie on Friday, and I absolutely love her. She's reserved, she's kind, she's lonely, she has magical powers, and she's beautiful. She cares too much and is amazing and she's voice by Idina Menzel and I love her.

[personal profile] dungeonmarm asked: Can art change the world, or is that a pretentious delusion? Which would be better, the world we currently have, or a world in which all paid artists devote themselves instead to charity work?

Dude, I absolutely believe that art can change the world. It changes people, affects millions. It already changes the world.

As for the second question, if everyone was involved in charity work to raise up our poor and disenfranchised, it would be a million times better than the one we have now.
