Eventful night at work

I recieved, like, two of the weirdest compliments at work.

Event 1:

Customer: *buys stuff*
Me: Anything else you want?
Customer: Yeah. How old are you?
Me: *pause* 20. Why?
Customer: You asked me what I wanted, didn't you?
Me: *backs away*


Event 2:

Me: *singing with the radio* Give me the beat, boys, and free my soul, I wanna get lost in this rock 'n' roll and drift away... *more singing*
Customer: *comes to the counter*
Me: *brightly* Hi! How can I help you tonight?
Customer: *starry eyes* If you were on American Idol, I'd vote for you.
Me: *blankly* Huh? ...Thanks?

*headdesk* My life is so meaningless. :P
