Ah, yes. I've decided that I need a beta who knows the plot for VPR, cause I'm starting to get all spinny about it. I would ask some people privately, but everyone's sooo busy with college and school and teaching. :) So I'm doing this 'public announcement' thingee. If any of you would like to, I'd be grateful, but I don't want anyone who's too busy feeling obligated. *hugs*

i can honestly say that i have the time for this. all of my time commitments have proven to be less time-consuming than previously thought. now, if [livejournal.com profile] nyanone and i were currently translating 'demon's tale' it would be different, but we're not starting that until prolly after her graduation thesis is done. heh.

anyway, if you'd like, i'll do it. i'm going to be a bit busy over the next few days, what with catching up on the backlogs my parents' visit created, and with writing chapter 13 (it's happening today and tomorrow- i'm going insane from not writing) and other stuff, but after i'm caught up (monday?) there should not be a problem.

(oh, and i'll have that list for you sometime today. =^-^= must go back to sleep first, though- damn body waking me up at *7*am on a saturday... :grumbles:)

you are good. very good. i am not saying you are perfect, because (a) no one is (b) perfection is boring (3) i'm not going to lie.

you need work, yes. again, you are not alone in this. but what you have is *potential*, and a lot of it. there are many published authors who do quite well who are not as good as you. :grumps:

jkr is, when it comes down to it, not a very spectacular writer.

anyway, i wouldn't beta someone who i didn't think was worth it. and who i thought couldn't stand up to criticism.

anyway, back to squeeing...

*sniffles* I get so abused! First I get 'thwapped' with a fish, and NOW I get smacked on the head by an interdimensional mallet?? but... ahem. Excuse me while I go squeeing for a while. :)
