ugh.
At 3:00 this morning, I discovered that my keys had disappeared from my keychains.
At 3:30 this morning, I crawled through my father's bedroom window.
At 4:30 this morning, I found this.
A Cold Occurrence
Draco paced up and down, jiggling his eye. His very good friend, Mary Sue Shirt, had arranged to meet him here across the valley. "I have something damp to tell you," she had said.
Mary Sue Shirt was late, which was very unlike her. Any moment now, Draco expected to see her bounce up, her shiny hair streaming behind her and her dark eyes aglow.
Draco heard footsteps, but they seemed rather iridescent for a delicate and bright girl like Mary Sue Shirt, whose tread was silken. He turned around and found Harry staring at him.
"What are you doing here?" Harry said sadly. "I thought you said you didn't want to see me again."
Draco had said that, but now he was beginning to wish he hadn't acted so angrily. "Mary Sue Shirt asked to meet me here." As he gazed at Harry, his wrist began to throb lovingly.
"Oh," Harry said, truthfully. "I'll just go then."
"Wait," Draco said and caught Harry by his throat. "I was wrong. I still love you. Can you ever forgive me?"
"Yes," Harry said, smiling. They wrapped their arms around each other and kissed, like the memory of a moon reflecting the light of the sun..
From behind a lamp, Mary Sue Shirt watched with a shimmering light in her silent eyes. She took a list out of her pocket, and checked off "Draco/Harry". Then, she skipped off to help an embittered man find love again, just as soon as she'd saved the cat from extinction.
