I have awesome co-workers that e-mail me things like a pdf file of the first eleven Anita Blake books. And that is an awful, awful series. Awful. But I can't stop reading it.
Unlike Twilight, where I read 'Oh noes a vampire hunter is going to kill me! Let me go to the beginning of the story so that you know what's going on and why a vampire hunter is going to kill me!'
And promptly sporked myself.
