* Yay for liking Sarah in this episode! She didn't use her relationship with Chuck to manipulate his actions in any way! Go, Team Sarah! Also, finding out more about her past was super awesome.
* Chuck is the geekiest, most lovable spy ever. Which his 'I'm so cool' mouth twitch. *squishes him*
* I didn't hate Nicole Ritchie's character any more than I was supposed to. That pleased me. I didn't even know she was trying to be an actress.
* High school reunions, ack!
* Okay, okay. Shipping Casey/Chuck without any qualms. Bryce, who? We're talking Earnest!Casey and Mad Dog!Chuck forEVARS!!
* And the crazy, crazy Buy More employees were great. Also, Morgan can be so awesome sometimes. I'm glad Lester isn't the Assistant Manager anymore, at least. Will Chuck finally take the plunge? Probably not, but I'm interested in who is going to try next.
* Also, Casey. The sex noise at seeing the bomber plane? Don't be ashamed. John!muse did the exact same thing. :D
* First, I'm glad that Ando is still alive, but that had to be the lamest thing to do. I mean, seriously? It's unbelievable and completely moronic. But Ando is alive and I love him. Damn bad writing decisions! And! Hiro's first assignment is Utsutu! That's awesome. And I think I'm watching far too much Chuck, because I'm saying 'Awesome' an awful lot.
* Claire only had a couple of missteps this ep, which made me happy. Sandra is seriously the coolest thing around. 'Your father always says, one of us, one of them!' She and Claire make a great team. Now, Claire's two missteps--one, she made too much noise when she came in, and got her mother into a lot of danger, and two, when she didn't shoot Eric immediately on sight. But she's a new agent, so I can forgive her. Otherwise, she was so enjoyable! Seriously! Even though she was bitchy to HRG. And HRG! I thought he was going to go off on her, but what does he do instead? He gets proud! Aw! ♥
* Who believed Meredith when she said 'I never loved you'? Because that just makes me think that there was really something between her and Eric in the past, and that she was most likely responsible for using his feelings against him to get him pinned in level five. I actually liked Eric-- he was really funny. And he kept calling Claire 'Barbie' which amused me like hell.
* No! Kensei! You became to squishable and adorable to live! Arthur Petrelli doesn't allow spiffiness in his army of evil. Don't worry, though, I have a feeling Hiro will avenge you.
* Now, about Arthur's powers-- I'm still annoyed that Nathan's powers are fake, but I guess the abilities are like any other gene; sometimes you get them and sometimes you don't. What I want to know is, if Gabriel really was the son of Angela and Arthur like they're saying, then why the hell would they have given him up for adoption, but kept Peter and Nathan? That doesn't make sense! However, the fact that both Peter and Gabriel have a variation on Arthur's ability is absolutely fascinating.
* Another thing that surprised me was that I genuinely liked Daphne in this episode. I still think she needs to fix her hair, but she's a decent person! And actually kind of sweet. I think I'd be interested in finding out what Pinehearst has over her.
* Matt, you are so lucky you've been my favorite for two seasons. Because this 'soulmate' thing you're on? No. Thank you. You've dropped to my second favorite spot. I just like your face and your turtle.
* Nathan, Tracy, don't trust Mohinder! Ah, see what happens? You trust him, and you end up drugged with Mohinder-the-date-rapist removing Nathan's clothes. See, I know you had a thing for President!Petrelli in the future (and how apt that the description can work for both Sylar and Nathan now) but this is taking it a bit far.
* Gabriel said no to Pinehearst! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. *joygasms* I'm so sad that Sylar only has three powers right now. At this point in time, he's the only one that deserves to use them all, because he'd totally be using them to do good things.
* Peter is so lame. They shouldn't keep him apart from Nathan for so long. "You've already hurt me, Sylar, by giving this thing to me!" Um. Dude. Peter. You asked for it. Gabriel said 'no'. Stop blaming people for your mistakes. Take a page from Claire's book and grow up a little, thanks. And I can't believe you used the 'I'm the special one' line on him. WORST YOUNGER BROTHER EVER.
* Utsutu is just the coolest thing ever. I'm annoyed with all of the precogs, just like I'm starting to get annoyed with all of the power absorbers, but Utsutu is a guru! And therefore he is so cool. Teach Hiro a thing or two about being a hero, please!
* Mohinder! You're so dumb, really. Did you really not know that Tracy was going to freeze the hell out of you for molesting her boyfriend? Please. And did I hear that right, and he actually killed Maya? Because if so, that's the worst misuse of a character ever. First, she's a vehicle for Sylar's storyline, and then a vehicle for Mohinder's storyline, and never has an actual point to her life outside of those two and Mohinder's obsession with Sylar. That makes me so mad. She could have been so much better.
* Matt is too sweet to be involved with Pinehearst. That makes me happy.
* Peter is too stupid to stay away from Pinehearst. He did exactly what Hiro did earlier-- he's gotten so used to his powers and the strength that he has that he doesn't think intelligently any more. Why would you go to a place with no back up or information other than 'Oh, I looked into my extraordinarily strong mother's mind and saw the Pinehearst symbol! That's all I need!' Nathan and Gabriel obviously inherited the brains of the family, that's all I'm saying. Now, all Gabriel needs to do is completely debrain his father, and all will be right with the world.
Maybe on the next volume, we'll actually see Micah for more than one scene, and Monica will exist again. Do you think?
*rewatches ending* God, Peter, you are an IDIOT.
