* I thought Carson was on Earth. Did I miss something? How did he get on random planet x?

* I was sort of displeased by the obvious Germans-selling-out-their-Jewish-neighbors thing that they had going on. From reading other reviews, I get that it was the point, but they could have handled that so much more subtly.

* Jervus or whatever the hell his name was is just bad writing for me. I get they needed a bad guy to point out the obvious 'bad' moral decision, but come on! Decent characterization, that's all I ask for! Some subtlety! Proof that he's a decent man who deserves to have that kind of posse ready to go with him to do something that distasteful, that he's at least conflicted, damnit.

* Bored, bored bored. Oh, hi! It's time to mention that I love the team! And is it just me or is John sounding consistently funny. Like, I don't remember him sounding like he does now in the last couple of seasons.

* Oh, noes, Rodney was kidnapped! Of course, they were totally after Beckett but hey! Two scientists are always better than one! Just look at the last two episodes! The reminds me of Miller's Crossing where they were all like, 'ooh, we're after Jeannie, but hey, Rodney's a good thing to snag too!'

* John during his entire 'my boyfriend is missing and I'm going to take everyone down until I find him' phase was awesome. The way he grabbed Jervis through the bars and bounced the gun against his neck and yay! John and Rodney love each other so much!

* They blew them all up. Even the not-so-decent humans. There should have been more angst, I think. The mayor guy did it just right, and I guess John felt bad too.

* Overall, bored, bored, bored. I like Carson. So why do the Carson episodes always make me want to fall asleep?
