(no subject)

Pick a character that I have written -- or maybe even a character you could see me writing, if I know him/her -- then 5 numbers between 1 and 100. Comment with the character name and the five numbers, and I'll answer the five corresponding questions from this list.

I love this kind of thing, so no limit on characters or questions, as long as you don't ask all 100 questions for all the characters you could possibly think of. :D

*laughs* Of course, out of all the ones I could have done, Alex is the one who likes to talk.

13. What do you have in your pockets?

Well, let's see. I'm wearing Raven's jeans today, so I have a couple of receipts that he accidentally washed in my right pocket. I've also got my wallet, keys, chapstick, and some change. In my jacket, I have a pen and a memo pad. And there's also my NFP-45 in my holster, which is really just a gun pocket anyway, so it counts.

23. As a child, what were your favorite activities?

Well, I liked playing baseball. And cops and robbers is always tons of fun!

29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?

I would probably say it was the day my girlfriend died and I ended up with Talents that I couldn't control.

37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?

I would have told Ari not to come by my office for lunch, because I can't help but think that she'd still be alive if she'd been at home.

81. How do you deal with stress?

Pizza, beer, and bad movies. If you can find a better stress reliever, I'd be impressed.

[identity profile] lunesque.livejournal.com 2008-09-10 04:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Gah. It was hard to get Conrad to talk, and I'm having even better luck with Gwendal. Still. :D

5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.

Technically, I live with a lot of people at Blood Pledge Castle. My mother, Gunter, His Majesty, His Highness, when he's in residence, Gunter, my brothers, soldiers, servants. We live in a typical castle; gardens, stables, residential wings. I suppose the most interesting thing about it is that we live in the center of the capital, which makes it easy to get anything we need.

12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?

I don't talk very much, so I believe that the phrase I use most often is some variation of 'Let's trust His Majesty.'

47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?

Yes, of course.

83. What are your pet peeves?

I hate it when my soldiers crack their knuckles. It draws attention to them when they should be inconspicuous. I also dislike laziness and prejudice.

25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like?

It depends on what you mean by popular. Overall, I wasn't, with the exception of a couple of the neighborhood half-bloods. We were absolute terrors. The villagers were always relieved when my father came to retrieve me.

[identity profile] lunesque.livejournal.com 2008-09-10 04:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, brain-canon is a wonderful thing, right? ^^;;

10. Are you right- or left-handed?
…right-handed.

21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?

I didn't. My father died before I knew him very well, and mother was always ridiculous. I didn't care much for Conrart because I hated his father so much, and Wolfram always wanted Conrart's attention anyway, so I didn't feel the need to step in and interfere.

54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?

Conrart. Because out of all of those I love, I have come closest to losing him most often.

71. What is your most treasured possession?
My sword.

95. If you could choose, how would you want to die?
I would prefer to die of natural causes, knowing that I have served my country well.

[identity profile] lunesque.livejournal.com 2008-09-10 05:33 pm (UTC)(link)
And Raven:

12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?

I say the word 'stupid' a lot, mostly to Alex. I should really stop doing that—I don't want to damage his self-esteem. Otherwise, I say 'What are you thinking?' and 'How does that make you feel?' I know, it's all psycho-babble, but it's really convenient when I don't have anything else to say.

16. What is your earliest memory?

I remember a photographer taking pictures of Abby, Alex, and me. According to what Mom wrote on the back of the pictures, Alex and I were around three, and Abby had just turned one.

45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?

I think everyone has the capability to kill under the right circumstances. I haven't found myself in a position where killing is the best choice for me yet. No matter your reasons, though, I don't find killing acceptable. Simply understandable.

79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you?

Everything shocks me a little. I try not to let anything offend me, however. It would make me a useless psychiatrist, wouldn't it?

93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?

I want Alex to be able to control his Talents. I've already accomplished everything else I wanted to do.

Number 13 brings me great joy. And calling a holster a gun pocket? Awesome!

Have I mentioned how much I love the twins? :P

[identity profile] lunesque.livejournal.com 2008-09-11 05:32 am (UTC)(link)
Alex killed me, for serious. Gun pocket. *shakes head*

I'm glad to hear that you love the twins, though, since they won't stop bothering me. I've written more for them more quickly than like, anything else. It would be a little annoying if I didn't ♥ them so much.

ah, typos. I hate you.

[identity profile] lunesque.livejournal.com 2008-09-11 05:02 pm (UTC)(link)
I honestly have no idea which John!muse answered these. And he totally went verbose on question 25 so that he could ignore me when 33 came around.

16. What is your earliest memory?

I was in preschool, and one of the teachers there brought a book about planes to show us.

25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like?

I guess I was popular—I mean, a lot of people liked to talk to me in school. But they were kind of boring. And they didn't really understand me, because I was taking a lot of classes to pass time while I was waiting on entry to the academy. I only had one or two that I was actually close to. One was a girl named Lisa. She was in drama, and always begged me to see the school plays, and the other one was Joe. He was in all the same math classes I was, and didn't think it was weird that I could do math in my head.

32. What is your greatest regret?

Not being able to save Holland. I feel the exact same way any time I lose anyone. It never gets easier.

33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?

It's classified. (R: What does that even mean? *kicks*)

87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I want to be able to tell people I care about them without freaking out. That'd be nice.

[identity profile] lunesque.livejournal.com 2008-09-11 05:23 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't know what to think about Rodney's answers.

16. What is your earliest memory?

I remember the piano that we had, and how my mother would let me sit next to her while she played. After that I realized that I could play better and started doing it myself. I was three.

20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them.

The vast majority of people are too stupid to be legitimate role models.

32. What is your greatest regret?

Losing contact with Jeannie over Madison and Kaleb.

71. What is your most treasured possession?

I don't have one. (Ed. From what I can gather, it was his cat, but it obviously couldn't have been that important if he left him with a neighbor in another galaxy.)

96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left.

1) Make sure Zelenka has notes on all of my projects
2) Beat Sheppard at video golf.
3) Movie Night with my team.

Ee! ^____^

I would mention specific things, but every answer (except 33, the shifty bastard) makes me flail a little and go "Johhhhn!" Especially the last one.

Gwah! 16 and 96 made me flail a lot. At my desk. *smishes Rodney so hard*

John was surprisingly easy to work with. I wasn't expecting that. And you know, they're all so generic it could be *any* of my John!muses. :D

[identity profile] lunesque.livejournal.com 2008-09-12 04:48 pm (UTC)(link)
16 was what killed me on Rodney. And he wanted to add playing the piano one last time to his list in 96, but then I reminded them they didn't have a piano on Atlantis. He wasn't happy.

And I love that out of the three characters asked question 16, he's the only one that remembers exactly how old he was. ♥
