Hi! I don't know what you were going to say in this entry, either, but I'll pretend it was about SGA and/or fic.
I finally got back to going through pru's fic, and I read her Bell Curve series tonight. I think "gahflail!" is the best way to sum it up. And yesterday I read a super awesome fic by busaikko, A Hundred Happy Things, which was written for a lgbt challenge and features trans!John. I wish there were more really awesome trans fics out there, because before this one, the only really good one I'd ever read was a GW one where Heero was MtF. (I can probably dig up a link to that one, too, if you're interested, just fyi.)
You know, I was totally like... erk--trans!John, but I went and read it anyway. I'm not quite sure how I feel about it, actually. I mean, the fic was fantastic, but the trans thing doesn't seem to be my kind of thing. It's not a squick by any means, but.. I dunno.
Mm. I don't know why I like trans fic so much, although I'm betting a good deal of has to do with the fact that I've never felt entirely female, so I can relate to some degree.
