evanjeline and I have been watching Beast Machines when it occurred to me that:

Rat Trap = Rodney
Cheetor = Ford
Black Arachnea = Teyla
Optimus Primal = John

That's okay. I was listening to commentaries and special features on SGA today, and they said something about Carson being a Cowardly Lion type, and something about Rodney having a tin heart, so my brain automatically went, "Well then obviously John is the Scarecrow, pretending he doesn't have that big, mathy brain under that ridiculous hair."

Didn't know who should be Dorothy, though.

Dorothy could be Cadman or Elisabeth. Or, heck, if we're going with team-fic type things, Teyla could totally Warrior Princess the Dorothy role.

Although! Elisabeth can be the Wicked Witch of the West, so that Zelenka could be her flying monkey! ♥

I say this mainly because I don't know the characters you're talking about and cannot participate.

Wicked Witch!Elizabeth and flying monkey!Zelenka is so win it made me cackle out loud, for reals. Also, Cadman would be the cutest Dorothy evar, and it would totally work if you wanted to pair off the group, since she hearts Carson. XD

Honestly, I'm so cracky right now that I'm almost tempted to write these AU's, and I don't write SGA fic. *__*
