Okay. Okay. So, I have been quietly, and not so quietly, pleading for 3:10 to Yuma fic, because dude. Christian Bale and Russell Crowe are hot together, and that's just that.

The first time I went searching, I didn't find anything--maybe because, for once, I fell for the pairing before there was even a fandom for it. But now?

Now it's been months, and there are communities. So why? Why isn't there any decent, hot, fic for Ben and Dan? For serious! I would rather not find any of the (surprisingly) small pool of Ben/Dan fic then hope and suffer. I admit, I've stumbled on to a couple of fics where there's decent porn, but it would be so much better if, oh, you know, they were in character.

And!

Why is there so damned much Charlie fic!? Okay, it's obvious that he was obsessively in love with Ben, but! But!

I haven't even seen the movie yet (it only opened in Sweden last week), and I want there to be fic. Because yes, Bale and Crowe in the wild west? That needs to be slashed like whoa!

Have you checked the Yuletide archives?

It definitely, definitely should be slashed. Just. Yeah.

And I am checking the yultide archives, actually--there are a couple of stories there, but only one or two that really ring with me. Apparently, I'm very, very picky in this fandom. It has to be done just right. I don't know why I'm angsting over this so much! *laughs*

So I actually watched the film now, and enjoyed it every bit as much as I hoped I would. Crowe and Bale both rock so much, in such a soft-spoken, low-key way. ♥ And, dude, bridal suite?

Dan was totally miraculously saved after the train left, y/y? *clings to hope*
