(no subject)
This is apparently the way my life goes:
Me: I hate my job!!!
Boss: You! Rachel! We want to give you a raise, change your position, and give you a schedule that doesn't change week by week! Yes/No??
Me: Er?
Boss: And there's more training, so you won't be on the phones for a week!
Me: Dude! Sign me up!
And just a couple of fandomy notes, too:
I'd forgotten that I stopped watching this season about four episodes in. It's awful. Awful. The newspaper guy being a clone of Julian? Lana and Bizzaro!Clark? What? The only moment I actively enjoyed in that episode was when Lex was talking to Lionel and Lionel said "It's you I've lost." Because that's true, and that's been happening since the very first moment in the very first episode, and it pains me to think how differently Lex would have ended up if Lionel had just treated him like a son instead of an enemy. Instead of the caricature of himself that Lex is now. I liked him better when he was obsessed with Clark. There's really nothing else to say here. I love Chloe, and I despise Lana and her... her... what? Entitlement? "Perhaps you don't know Clark as well as you think you do." and "Maybe it's time to let him go." You're the one who couldn't tell something was wrong, Lana. And why does everyone fall in love with you? You're really not worth it.

Nothing much to say here, either. Season three is pretty much shaping into the fic that I've had brewing on my hard drive for the last couple of months. And it's absolutely delicious, Dean having no hope. ALSO! Did any one else have a spontaneous orgasm when the idea of Demon!Dean was mentioned? And Dean with the demon!eyes in the preview for next week's episode? Guh. *shivers* And! Sam becoming more like Dean because Dean won't be there to protect him and his sensitive nature and how he's going to be fighting the war all by himself? *sigh* I do so love this show, even if I was expecting more from the coven of witches.
Seriously. The magazine made it sound like the witches were all sexy and totally understood what kind of deal they were making in order to gain their power, and in the episode, all we got were a bunch of yuppie soccer moms that were using their powers to get lower mortgage rates. Jesus Christ.
Yes, yes, Ruby is angsty. Although the team-up of Ruby and Dean would be full of awesomeness. I liked the revelation that Ruby had been a witch, and a human (and really, I loved it because it led into learning more about what's in store for Dean, so I think my love for Demon!Dean just spilled over into a brief more-than-usual love for Ruby as well) Because-- I really don't care about her I-used-to-be-human-and-I-remember-what-it's-like jazz. It's really all about Dean.
As a demon. Not, like, possessed, but actually. Dean. As a demon. dfiejwrfd There are no words for how completely hot that is.
