Ha ha!
Am I sharing my thoughts on Heroes? Why yes, I am indeed. I never stopped thinking about it, just posting about it. And now we'll all be caught up. :D
I've been away from sharing my heroes love for so long!!
So, because there's no way I'm going to do any sort of interesting reviews without watching the episodes all over again, just a few things:
• Matt is love. Seriously. The way he defeated his father by finally, finally realizing that he's a wonderful person made me die of love.
• I am alternately amused and annoyed by Elle. I can't decide if I like her or not, honestly.
• As much as I love Mohinder, he's kind of an idiot. It took his nose being broken for
nonewwitticisms to stop being distracted by Sendhil Ramamurthy's prettiness to realize this.
• Oh, Alejandro.
• Oh, Mr. Bennet.
• Nathan and Peter love each other so much.
• Oh, Nathan. ;_;
Unlike
suaine, I'm not sure if Nathan is going to make it to the next half of the season. Basically, I liked this story arc, but… I feel they did a large disservice to a number of the characters. Ted and Hana and Eden in the first season were all technically side characters, right? But they had their own stories that just happened to meld seamlessly with everything else. The writers didn't do that with Maya and Alejandro. They were swallowed up the instant that Sylar met up with them, and instead of having their own story, they just became the vehicle to get Sylar to Mohinder. And really, Sylar could have done that on his own. Monica should have kicked everyone's butt in that house, but she got captured, which turned her into a vehicle for Niki's "death" (because who really knows, right? One would think an explosion would be pretty final, but… this is Heroes.) The whole virus storyline was anti-climatic. And were we supposed to worry about Caitlin? Because I haven't missed her. Peter seems to go after the boring girls. I tend to think it's because he's boring. Pretty, but boring. His scenes with Nathan are what really make Peter shine.
The thing I'm most concerned about right now is Matt. I know he's alive and everything, but using his powers the way he has this season—ordering Molly in (admittedly small) doses, trying to force the truth out of Angela, trying to force Peter to leave Adam (I'm not sure there if he was trying to force or just talk, but I definitely got the force vibe out of that) and I don't know. It's still mild, but it's more than enough to remind me of what Matt is like in the future, and that scares me. I'm nervous about how they're going to handle this.
I'm also disappointed that Exodus isn't going to exist, and that they're going straight to Villains. In "The Ten Brides of Kensei" gnc, it mentions that there's a woman out there that's most likely going to help Kensei get out of the coffin, which explains the things I hear about him being a regular instead of just recurring cast member. I'm horrified by the thought that I keep having that it might be Angela, but who knows. It could be a completely new character.
And the thing I want the least: for Sylar's storyline to rehash what happened in season one. Yes, he got his powers back. Is he just going to go back to killing for powers again? Trying to destroy the world? Is his character going to get the kind of growth in this season like it did in the first? I'm really worried. I'm going to be so disappointed if he goes back to just doing what he was before. What I really want to happen? I want Nathan to die (but oh, that hurts. I feel like I'm one of five people in the world who love him passionately. *squish*) I want Peter to go mad because both Nathan and Caitlin are gone, so he does horrible things to try and get them back, and I want Sylar to be forced into a completely different zone. No comfort zone of killing people for powers, kthanks. I doubt that's going to happen, but. Oh well.

Have also learned that Abrams is the one directing the new Star Trek movie. Dare I hope Greg is in that one too?? Because Zachary and Greg in Trek would make me happy.
There's a console video game for Ubisoft in the making. Sounds like it's PS3, X-Box 360, maybe one other platform. I'm crushed. I have no PS3. ;_;
